And this has become even more serious after the COVID-19 pandemic, as screen times have risen dramatically ever since. Where technology is taking over the world at such an exponential rate, how long will you be able to keep your child away from it? How Screen Time Limit Works
When you set a screen time limit on your child’s Android device or Chromebook, they will get a notification when the limit has been set for the first time, and when their device is about to get locked. When the device gets locked, your child won’t be able to see the notifications, can’t unlock the device or use any apps except for those designated under the Always allowed apps category. If this limit has been set from Google’s Family Link app, then it will apply to apps installed on all of your child’s devices. Also, the daily limits that you set would apply to each of your child’s Android devices.
