WWDC 2024: What's new with watchOS 11?

Apple will be rolling out a bunch of exciting features on the watchOS 11. To begin with, the new Vitals app will let users quickly view their key health metrics like heart rate, respiratory rate, blood oxygen, wrist temperature, and sleep data. Pregnant users can now track their physical and emotional health on the Apple Watch. Using the Health app, users can log their symptoms and gestational age. Apple also provides monthly mental health exams to pregnant users.

Training Load is a new feature that lets users track the impact of their intense workouts on their bodies. This app tracks the strain the user has felt while carrying out a specific training regimen. By comparing their strain metrics, users can gauge whether the routine is working for them. watchOS 11 also lets users customise their Activity rings, introducing the option to pause them for different lengths of time. This action does not interfere with the award streaks. Users can also add new metrics to the Summary tab to suit their fitness goals.
