Lava has announced two models of their new smartphone, Virat, in India – 5G and 4G. The 5G variant uses a Unisoc T8200 CPU, while the 4G variant makes use of a Unisoc SC9863A. Lava announced the debut of two new smartphones, the Lava Virat V1 5G and the Lava Virat V1 4G, with beautiful colour options and low prices. The Lava Virat V1 5G is priced at Rs 12,999 but is being offered at a launch price of Rs 11,999. It is available in two colour variants: Arya Blue and Sonar Gold. On the other hand, the Lava Virat V1 4G is priced at Rs 9,999 and has a special launch price of Rs 8,999. The 4G model is available in Nilgiri Blue and Himalayan Silver colours. Please note that these special launch prices will be available only on the first day of sale, which starts on July 31 at 12pm IST. Both the phones will be available for purchase on the Flipkart and Lava websites.

Both phones include a 6.75-inch Notch HD+ display with 2.5D glass, a 120Hz refresh rate and a 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. They also support 16.7 million colours and have a pixel density of 260 PPI.
Lava Virat V1 5G is powered by a UNISOC T8200 octa-core processor. The device comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, extendable up to 1TB. The Lava Virat V1 is powered by a Unisoc SC9863A CPU. The device comes with 4GB of RAM and supports 4GB virtual RAM. It has 64GB of internal storage. They run on an Android 16-based operating system.
The Lava Virat V1 5G and Lava Virat V1 camera systems contain a 13 MP main back camera and a 5 MP front camera with HD video recording and several photography modes such as portrait, slow motion, and panoramic. Notably, both cameras are equipped with flash functionality.

The Lava Virat V1 5G is powered by a 6,000mAh battery, whereas the Lava Virat V1 4G model comes with a 5,000mAh battery.
The 6,000mah battery is claimed to provide 30 hours of talk time and 340 hours in standby mode. Charging is via a 10W Type-C charger with a full charge time of 185 minutes. Users can enjoy an extended YouTube playback time of approximately 625 minutes.
They come with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm audio jack and OTG support for versatile connectivity. The Lava Virat V1 5G comes with GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 and WCDMA bands. It supports 4G VoLTE and 5G on several network bands such as N1, N3, N5, N8, N28, N40, N77 and N78.
