Days after Apple had launched its online store in India on September 23, the tech giant’s series of free virtual sessions from ‘Today at Apple’ has kick-started on 17 October and will run until 29 November to enable Apple fans hear from leading local photographers and acclaimed musicians. Mind you! These virtual sessions are a part of Apple’s on-ground customer engagement practice.
According to Apple, this platform will also help Apple fans know the real stories and inspiration behind the projects. Not only this, Apple will also help the audience to get started on your own creative journey by learning essential skills and techniques from its Apple Creative.
The virtual sessions dubbed as ‘Illuminating Creativity Series’ is majorly distributed in to three segments:
- Photo Skills
- Photo Labs
- Music Skills
As far as Photo Lab is concerned, Mumbai-based Siddhartha Joshi will help one explore the world of photographer. During this virtual session on October 22nd, Joshi will display portrait projects he’s taken across the subcontinent, capturing India’s uniquely diverse population. Moreover, he will provide professional photo tips, and learn how he uses iPhone, DSLR and mirrorless cameras. Beside Siddhartha Joshi, Avani Rai and Prarthna Singh will also help people delve deep into big wide web of photography world under Photo Lab.
On the other hand, Photo Skills will allow Apple fans create better photos via iPhone as part of the Illuminating Creativity Series. They will explore the latest camera features to compose a great shot, experiment with focus and exposure, and use advanced lighting settings to capture some dramatic moments. If one wish to sharper his Music Skills, the music sessions will comprise of primers on creating music by using GarageBand. According to Apple, “Whether you’ve played music before or not, learn how to start a song in GarageBand using Live Loops in this 60-minute session. You’ll get hands-on with pre-recorded music patterns to find your groove as part of our Illuminating Creativity Series. Recommended for beginners. To take part, you’ll need an iPhone or iPad with the GarageBand app downloaded. Available free from the App Store.”
Mind you! To join these free virtual sessions from ‘Today at Apple’, one would need a computer, laptop, mobile or tablet device; a stable internet connection; and the free Cisco Webex Meetings app. The company further stated that if the age is below 18 years, the parent or legal guardian can register for them.
