Asus Zenfone Max Pro 1, a budget smartphone that the Taiwanese technology company launched last year, has received a price cut in India. All the variants of Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 have been reduced by Rs 1,500 in price. The revised cost of the smartphone is already reflecting on Flipkart. The handset has been a popular choice in the budget segment and garnered a lot of appreciation for its 5,000mAh battery, Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC and 6GB of RAM.
After the price drop, the base variant of the smartphone with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage can be picked up at Rs 7,999, the 4GB RAM/64GB storage model is available at Rs 8,999 and the 6GB RAM/64GB storage can be bought at Rs 11,999. Prior to the discount, the device’s three variants were available at Rs 8,499, Rs 10,499 and Rs 12,499 respectively. We should point out that while the 3GB RAM and 6GB RAM variants have received a price cut of 500, the 4GB RAM variant has been discounted by Rs 1,500. The device is available in Black, Blue and Grey colours.
Interested customers can buy the smartphone at its new price via Flipkart. Other than this discount, one can also get no-cost EMI options, exchange discounts, a 5% off on Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card and Axis Bank Buzz Credit Card.
This is not the first time that the company has announced a price cut on Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1. The last discount was levied on the handset in March this year.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 features a 5.99-inch full-HD+ IPS Full View display that comes with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The smartphone used to run a nearly stock version of Android 8.1 Oreo but has now been updated to Android Pie. Powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, the device comes with Adreno 509 GPU and is available in 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM variants. As we mentioned earlier, the 3GB RAM model comes with 32GB internal storage, while the 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM variants are available with 64GB onboard storage. Besides this, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 can hold a microSD card of up to 2TB.
On the imaging front, the 3GB RAM/4GB RAM models come with a dual rear setup that comprises of a 13MP Omnivision sensor and a 5MP depth-sensing sensor. For selfies, there is an 8MP front-facing snapper. Speaking of the 6GB RAM model, it has 16MP+5MP dual rear cameras and sports a 16MP selfie camera. Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 packs a 5,000mAh battery.
