Japanese audio product manufacturer, Audio-Technica, has announced the launch of its latest headphones in the Indian market. The Audio-Technica ATH-102USB headphones come with an in-built mic that makes them fit for those working from home. It will be beneficial for web conferencing as well as for online lessons. The microphone has a built-in noise-cancelling feature. The wired headset also comes with a special antibacterial and deodorant processing to maintain hygiene.
Audio-Technica ATH-102USB headphones have been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 2,393. The headset features a 30mm dynamic driver that comes with an output sound pressure level of 92dB/mW. The audio device offers a maximum input of 100mW and 320 impedance. It offers a playback frequency band of 20-20,000Hz. The driver uses a carbon black film diaphragm, you can hear clear and natural sounds from the content of your choice.
In addition to this, the headphones come with a bidirectional built-in mic, which offers noise cancellation features. The condenser microphone attached to the headphones utilises the proximity effect of a bi-directional electret condenser microphone that suppresses ambient noise and carries clear audio to the listener. Moreover, the provided windscreen helps cut the noise (pop noise) caused by your own breath.
Audio-Technica ATH-102USB is an open type USB headset that comes along with soft ear pads for comfort during extended use. Whereas the lightweight design reduces the strain on the neck and shoulders, making it comfortable for long meetings. There is a slider adjustment as well for a secure fit.
It is compatible with USB Type-A and USB Type-C allowing listening to calls, music, games, etc. just by connecting the headset via USB (plug and play). Audio-Technica headphones also have an in-line controller that allows you to adjust the volume and turn the microphone on / off.
The AT102USB’s main body is administered with a special antibacterial and deodorized treatment making them hygienic to use over time, anywhere, anytime. This process is applied to the headset, controller, plug part, ear pads, and windscreen, which suppresses the growth of many bacteria including Escherichia coli, yellow cocci, and more.
