Apple Store and Google Play store in India have removed the most popular game PUBG from their respective app downloading platforms after it was banned along with 117 more Chinese apps. The game has over 50 million daily active users in India only which is the biggest in the market. Though the company Tencent says it is being in talks with the government to remove the ban on PUBG. Similarly, in the past, TikTok was also banned and it has still not been restored and now the PUBG Mobile game is in a similar situation and the government is also in no mood to lift the ban on the app. Meanwhile, in India, there is a surge in the home-grown alternatives to PUBG that have started emerging after the ban of the Chinese app began. Call of Duty Mobile
Call of Duty is one of the biggest rivals as well as an alternative to PUBG. Available on both Android and iOS this game has maximum download from India only. This is a free-to-play first-person shooter game that has been specifically built for mobile phones and is almost similar to the Call of Duty games found on consoles and PCs, including all the essential features of the foremost version. The game was launched last year and within a few days, it surpassed 35 million downloads. Similar to PUBG it has a variety of maps that you can choose from, Royale mode and more.
Fortnite
This game is different from PUBG unlike the game which has support for cross-platform functionality means you can go up against PC and Console users. It also comes with build mechanics to create walls, ramps, roofs to build barricades or defence around you. The game is available for Android only and is unviable for iOS users due to legal tussle between Apple and the developers and it requires a smartphone with better RAM and processor for a smoother experience.
Garena Free Fire: Rampage
Free Fire is the ultimate survival shooter game with a 10-minute game that places you on a remote island where you are pit against 49 other players. Other than driving vehicles and hiding in trenches, they can also become invisible by proning under grass. You can search for weapons, loot your enemy and go for airdrops while avoiding airstrikes. The game is available for free on iOS and Android platforms.

This is a casual gun game for kids as well as adults with 32 players and 3-5-minute battles. The players can choose their landing spot, drop-in, loot weapons and Armor. There are no bloodsheds super-simple controls, a fun and quirky art style and pick-up-and-play gameplay. This game is available on iOS and Android.

This app is available only on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. Specially designed for kids Butter Royale is a multiplayer battle royale game. This game is like any other game but with a twist. Instead of guns here you are fighting with food items like Breadzooka, hot dog Miniguns, or Snipermeasan rifle therefore not putting players in the warzone situation, Unlike PUBG this game has 32 players. Not only this there is tactical warfare at play you can hide in the bushes or tents and trap the enemy.
Pixel’s Unknown Battle Ground
The replica of PUBG, Pixel’s Unknown Battle Ground will not let you miss PUBG. This game has different graphics modes for weaker devices. There are tons of skins, more than 30 weapons in-game cars and military vehicles with simple controls.
