Garmin Venu 2 Plus with voice calling feature launched in India

The watch comes with 25+ built-in indoor and GPS sports apps.

Garmin India has announced the launch of a new smartwatch Venu 2 Plus in the Indian market. The new watch offers voice assistant support and health snapshot tools. Besides this the fitness tracker has a voice-calling function, a number of health-tracking features including a pulse Ox3 sensor and more.

Garmin Venu 2 Plus price in India, sale details

The Garmin Venu 2 Plus has been launched in India at Rs 46,990. Cream Gold, Graphite Black, and Powder Grey are the three main colour choices available. In terms of availability, the smartwatch can be purchased via Amazon, Flipkart, Tata CLiQ, Synergizer, Tata Luxury, and Garmin Brand Stores. GBS, Helios, Just in Time, and Croma will all sell the Garmin Venu 2 Plus offline.

The Venu 2 Plus has a 43-mm watch case with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, a stainless steel bezel, and a comfortable 20-mm quick release silicone band. It has a 1.3-inch AMOLED Always-on display with 416 x 416 pixels of resolution.

Walking, jogging, HIIT, cycling, pool swimming, Pilates, yoga, indoor climbing, hiking, advanced strength training with muscle map visuals, and more are among the 25+ built-in indoor and GPS sports applications included with the Venu 2 Plus.

The user may download preset routines via the Garmin Connect app and customise their workouts with over 1,400 exercises. In Garmin Connect and on the wrist, the Venu 2 Plus features 75+ animated exercises that illustrate perfect form and technique for cardio, yoga, strength, HIIT, and Pilates. Garmin Coach free adaptive training programmes may be used with the Venu 2 Plus.

In addition to this, the smart wearable includes a wide range of 24/7 health monitoring features, such as the Body Battery Energy Monitor, which tracks the body’s energy throughout the day. 

The Pulse Ox3 measures the oxygen saturation of the blood in the body. Stress tracking, enhanced sleep with Firstbeat Analytics sleep score and insights, breathwork activities, pregnancy and menstrual cycle tracking, respiration tracking, fitness age, and other health monitoring metrics to measure users’ fitness goals

The smartwatch supports Garmin’s safety and tracking features including automatic incident detection (during outdoor walks, runs, or rides)3 and manually prompted assistance alerts, both of which send a message with the user’s position to their emergency contacts. 

Friends and relatives may use LiveTrack to keep track of the user’s outside activities. Users can specify a chosen emergency contact, such as local emergency services to contact.

The Garmin Venue 2 Plus also includes built-inincludes With built-in music (up to 650 songs, including playlists from Spotify, Amazon Music, and Deezer4), Garmin PayTM contactless payments, and smart notifications for calls, texts, calendar reminders, social media updates, breaking news stories, and more. 

Apps, watch faces, and other features are available for download through the Connect IQTM store, allowing the watch to be customised. It is also compatible with Android or Apple devices.

In terms of endurance, users may now get up to 9 days of battery life in smartwatch mode, 24 hours in GPS mode, and 8 hours in GPS with music mode. One day of smartwatch mode battery life or one hour of GPS with music battery life may be obtained by charging for ten minutes.
