Garmin India has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of a new sports watch in the Indian market. Vivomove Sport hybrid touchscreen smartwatch will be an online exclusive. It is being offered in four stunning colour options and features an OLED display. It also comes with over eight different sports modes and a wide range of health monitoring features like blood oxygen monitoring and hydration tracking.

The Garmin Vivomove Sport smartwatch costs Rs. 18,990 in India. The new smartwatch will be available in four colour options of Ivory, Cool Mint, Cocoa, and Black. One can purchase it through Nykaa.com, Nykaa Fashion, and Nykaa Man in the country.

Garmin Vivomove Sport looks like a traditional watch but has all of the features of a smartwatch. Traditional analogue hands are placed on top of a discrete and easily visible OLED display. When the hands interact with the touchscreen, they dynamically move away to create more space and provide clear visibility of the data on display. It has a silicone band and colour-coordinated watch dial in warm colourways and a soft green that evokes sophisticated wellness aesthetics. The device has refined metallic accents that give it a sleek, contemporary look. It is available with a 40mm dial having fibre-reinforced polymer chassis and an OLED display that is protected by a chemically strengthened glass.

As we mentioned earlier the Vivomove Sport hybrid touchscreen smartwatch offers a wide range of health and wellness features including more than 8 sports modes. The Vivomove Sport monitors respiration, Pulse Ox1, stress, advanced sleep (with sleep stages), hydration logging, and heart rate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (with user-configurable alerts for high or low readings). While the Body Battery energy monitoring displays the body’s current energy level, making it easier to plan workouts, big events, and know when it’s time to relax.

Furthermore, the Garmin smartwatch includes Women’s health features in the Garmin Connect app, such as menstrual cycle tracking and pregnancy tracking, help women at every stage of their reproductive cycle by allowing them to log symptoms alongside their other health and wellness data.

Step counting, calories burned, intensity minutes, and other features help you keep track of your activity throughout the day. The Garmin Vivomove Sport smartwatch unlike other Garmin smartwatches can be used with either Android or iOS smartphones.

For peace of mind while out and about, safety and tracking features send a message with the user’s location to their emergency contacts are also provided. Battery life in smartwatch mode is up to 5 days, with an additional day in watch mode (hands only).

Incoming calls, text messages, social media updates, and alerts receive smart notifications. Text messages can be responded to by Android users. Through the Garmin Connect app, users can connect, compete, and share their health and fitness data in one place.
