The Google call app will come with some of the important features. As per the 9to5google report, the app will include a caller ID feature so that the user could know about the caller’s details. The publisher has also shared a screenshot confirming the presence and name of the app however Google is yet to officially reveal its upcoming application or the new changes made to the existing app.

Taking a fast recap Google in September announced a new feature called Verified Calls in the Phone app. The feature is going to identify calls from genuine business numbers in order to deal with phone fraud which is a very serious issue in India as well as across the globe. The Verified calls feature will show the identity of the caller along with the reason for the call.

As we said before, the Phone app is available on Google Play Store and it also comes pre-loaded on most phones. Google in its blog post said, “For instance, banks calling to alert a customer about a possible fraudulent transaction can increase answer rates by stating the call reason. A food delivery or logistics company can do the same to make sure customers are available to receive their deliveries.”
