Today in India the California-based technology giant Google launched Pixel 4a. In addition to this, the company also announced the Indian availability details of Google Nest Audio. The smart speaker was launched globally alongside the company’s 5G Pixel devices last week. The new speaker by Google comes with better audio quality as well as the design. Google Nest Audio price and availability details
Google Nest Audio will be available in India on October 16 when the Flipkart’s Big Billion Sale kicks off in the country during the festive season. The smart device comes in five colour options Chalk and Charcoal. The company has set the price of Nest Audio at Rs 7,999 but for a limited period the smart speaker will be offered at an introductory price of Rs 6,999 that is Rs 1,000 down from its retailing cost. Apart from Flipkart, Nest Audio will soon be available at retail outlets across the country at Reliance Retail and Tata Cliq.

Google Nest Audio is a successor of Nest Mini in terms of design, Google Nest has a slimmer profile and is made from 70 percent recycled plastic. It equips a 75mm woofer, a 19mm tweeter, 3 far-field microphones and a 2-stage mic mute switch. The smart speaker is powered by a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor clocked at 1.8GHz and can be connected through Bluetooth v5.0 and dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac. According to the company it is 75 percent louder and has 50 percent stronger bass than the original Google Home.
The latest variant of the Nest equips a dedicated machine learning chip with up to one TeraOPS of processing power to learn your most common music commands and responds two times faster than the original Google Home. The device is compatible with other smart home brands like Philips Hue, TP-Link|KASA and more with your voice command you can ask Nest to play music from YouTube Music or Spotify Premium with the help of Google Assistant just say, “Hey Google, recommend some music”.
The device comes with a Media EQ that enables Nest Audio to automatically tune itself to music, podcasts, audiobooks or even a response from Google Assistant. While the Ambient IQ allows it to adjust the volume of Assistant, news, podcasts and audiobooks based on the background noise in your home, so you can hear the weather forecast over a noisy dishwasher.
