Here is how to disable live text on your iPhone, iPad or Mac

Here are some simple steps that you can follow to disable the annoying Live texts on your Apple device.

Although this can be useful for highlighting text in images and quickly copying and pasting text from photos and screenshots, it can also be inconvenient at times. Follow the steps below to turn off Live Text on an iPhone, iPad, or Mac if you don’t need it.

It’s worth noting that once you’ve disabled Live Text on your Apple devices, you won’t be able to select text in your images. The text recognition icon will also be hidden, as well as the contextual menu, which allows you to search or translate the text. How to turn off live text on Mac?

On Mac when the Live Text feature is enabled a similar problem can occur when trying to save images from the internet or photographing an object with text. You can disable the feature on your Mac in the same way that you can on your iPhone or iPad. To turn off the feature, follow these steps:

– Select System Preferences from the drop-down menu.

– Select Language & Region from the drop-down menu.

– Deselect the box next to Select Text in Images on the General tab.
