Nokia brand licensee HMD Global today introduced two new smartphones in India. Nokia 5.4 and Nokia 3.4 are the company’s latest budget smartphones powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets. Both the phones carry a hole-punch design display with Android 10 running out of the box. The earlier one comes with a quad rear camera setup whereas the latter one has a triple rear camera setup.
Nokia 5.4, Nokia 3.4 Price and availability
Nokia 5.4 will be available in two variants of 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 64GB storage model priced at Rs 13,999 and Rs 15,499 respectively. The device will be offered in two colour options of Dusk and Polar Night. It is scheduled to go on sale via the company’s official website and Flipkart starting February 17.
On the other hand, Nokia 3.4 comes in a single 4GB RAM with 64GB storage priced at Rs 11,999. It will be available in three colour options of Charcoal, Dusk, and Fjord. This phone is up for pre-booking and is scheduled to go on sale via the Nokia website, Amazon, Flipkart, and leading retail outlets from February 20.
Nokia 5.4 specifications
Nokia 5.4 runs on Android 10 out of the box and will be upgraded to Android 11. The device features a 6.39-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and a punch-hole cutout to house a selfie camera. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
Nokia 5.4 sports a quad-camera set up that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor. Furthermore, there is a 5-megapixel ultrawide angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor for portraits. While on the front the smartphone features a 16-megapixel selfie sensor.
The Noki smartphone packs a 4,000mAh battery on the phone with 10W charging support via USB-C port. In terms of connectivity, there is 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack. In addition to this, there is a rear fingerprint sensor for biometrics.

Nokia 3.4 features a 6.39-inch HD+ display with 720×1,560 pixels of resolutions, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 400 nits of peak brightness. The device runs on Android 10 out of the box and will be upgraded to Android 11. Under the hood, there is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage variants. The device supports memory expansion via a microSD card to up to 512GB.
Nokia 3.4 comes with a triple rear camera set up that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor. In addition to this, there is a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 2-megapixel depth sensor and an LED flash. On the front, there is a hole-punch to house an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor.
There is a 4,000mAh battery on the Nokia 3.4 with 5W charging support. In terms of connectivity, there is 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, FM radio, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
