At IFA 2020 this year Huawei’s sub-brand Honor introduced Honor Watch GS Pro and Honor Watch ES expanding its portfolio of smartwatches. Both the devices are fitness-focused smartwatches that include all the needed health and fitness features. Today the company will be launching both the devices in India.
Honor Watch GS Pro and Honor Watch ES will be launched in India today. The company has also created a dedicated microsite for the smart wearable on the e-commerce website Flipkart. Just before the official launch, both the fitness tracking devices by the Chinese company got listed on the online shopping portal. The launch will take place at 12 noon today.
As of now, the company has not revealed the pricing of both the products but during IFA 2020 the Honor Watch GS Pro was launched with a price tag of EUR 249.99 that translates to Rs 21,600. On the other hand, Honor Watch ES was introduced at EUR 99.99 that translates to Rs 8,700. The pricing of the devices is going to be similar to what it is being offered in the European markets.
Honor Watch GS Pro specifications
The Watch GS Pro comes with a circular dial with a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 454×454 pixels of resolution. It is powered by Kirin A1 SoC paired with 4GB of storage and is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. It has GPS support for location tracking with dual satellite positioning systems and offers multi-skiing. The smartwatch also includes 100 workout modes with 15 professional and 85 customised modes along with health monitoring features that include real-time heart rate monitoring, sleep tracker and SpO2 monitor to keep track of the blood oxygen level.
Honor Watch ES
The Honor Watch ES features a 1.64-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 456×280 pixels with an always-on feature and 2.5D glass cover. It comes loaded with about 95 workout modes, 12 animated workout classes, and 44 animated exercise moves. For real-time heart rate monitoring, the company has used Huawei’s proprietary TruSeen 4.0 technology. Also available with stress and sleep monitoring functionality the device lacks a SpO2 monitor to measure blood oxygen level.
