Today Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has expanded its portfolio of smartwatches by launching Honor Watch GS Pro and Honor Watch ES in India today. Before arriving at the Indian shores both the devices were introduced at IFA 2020 in Berlin last month. Both the smartwatches are fitness-focused smartwatches that include all the needed health and fitness features.
Honor Watch GS Pro and Honor Watch ES price in India and availability details
Honor Watch GS Pro and Honor Watch ES have been introduced with a price tag of Rs 17,999 and Rs 7,499 respectively. The earlier one will be available in a single Midnight Black colour option while the latter will be available in the Meteorite Black variant.
Honor Watch GS Pro will go on sale via Flipkart during the Big Billion Days sale which will kick start on October 16. The Prime members can access the sale a day before on October 15. In a similar way, Honor Watch ES will go on sale simultaneously on Amazon during the Great Indian Festival Sale that will start on October 17 and October 16 for Prime members.
Honor Watch GS Pro features
Honor Watch GS Pro features a circular dial which has a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 454×454 pixels of resolution and a pixel density of 326ppi. The watch is powered by Kirin A1 SoC which we have already seen on Huawei Watch GT 2 and FreeBuds 3. The smartwatch boards a 4GB of internal storage and is well-matched with both Android and iOS devices. This has an in-built speaker as well as a microphone for taking calls.
The GS Pro is supported by GPS for location tracking with dual satellite positioning systems. There are multi-skiing modes it also provides information related to at what time the sun will rise or set with the moon and tidal phases. In addition to this, it can also send bad weather alerts.
In addition to this Honor Watch GS Pro includes 100 workout modes with 15 professional and 85 customised modes along with health monitoring features that include real-time heart rate monitoring, sleep tracker and SpO2 monitor to keep a track on the blood oxygen level and TuRelax Stress monitor and TruSleep for improved mental health. The smartwatch has a six-axis sensor to record data of activities such as trial (distance), average speed, maximum speed, and cumulative elevation. It is 5ATM rated for sweat and water resistance. It delivers a battery life of 25 days on a single charge.
Honor Watch ES features
The Honor Watch ES comes with a rectangular-shaped dial with a 1.64-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 456×280 pixels with an always-on feature and 2.5D glass cover. It comes loaded with about 95 workout modes, 12 animated workout classes, and 44 animated exercise modes. The workout modes on the watch include outdoor and indoor running, outdoor and indoor walking, outdoor and indoor cycling, pool swimming, free training, elliptical, rower and others.
For real-time heart rate monitoring, the company has used Huawei’s proprietary TruSeen 4.0 technology. Also available with stress and sleep monitoring functionality the device has a SpO2 monitor to measure blood oxygen level, TruSleep Monitor and TuRelax Stress Monitor.
This watch comes with replaceable silicone straps along with a built-in battery supported by fast charging allowing it to charge 70 minutes in 30 minutes and delivers 10 days of battery life on a single charge. Also, it comes with the ability to reject an incoming call, music controls as well as push notifications.
