Google is the most used search engine and is browsed by a lot of people. Privacy nowadays has become a big issue and there are a lot of allegations on Google. The search engine is improving day by day adding more privacy features. The company already had a feature to delete your history automatically for the last 24 hours. Users can customise the auto delete history for 3,18 or 36 months according to their convenience. After Google announced this new update, here is how you can delete your last 15 minutes of Google search history.

1. On iOS
Step 1 – Open the Google application on the phone(make sure it’s updated to the latest version).
Step 2 – Tap on the profile picture on the top right of your phone.
Step 3 – In the pop up you could see a new feature on the screen ‘Delete last 15 min’ under Search history.
Step 4 – Tap on the option and your history of 15 mins will be permanently deleted.
Although this feature is rolled out specifically for iOS only, here is how you can do the same on an Android smartphone.
2. On Android
Step 1: Open the google application on your Android device.
Step 2: Tap on the profile picture icon on the top right corner of the screen.
Step 3: Now, select t ‘Search History’ on the last from the menu which popped up.
Step 4: Next, tap on the ‘Delete’ option.
Step 5: As soon as you tap delete, four options will pop up ‘Delete today’, ‘Delete Custom Range’, ‘Delete All Time’ and ‘Auto delete
Step 6: Select your preference accordingly and the history for that period will be deleted completely from your account.
