Infinix Zero 8i with quad rear camera set up and 33W fast charging support launched in India

In August this year, Transsion Holdings group introduced Infinix Zero 8 in the Indonesian market. Today the company has launched Infinix Zero 8i in India which comes with similar design aspects of the Indonesian variant. The key technical specs of the newly launched smartphone include a 90Hz refresh rate display, a dual selfie camera setup and a quad rear camera setup. In addition to this, there is a 33W fast charging on the phone to the 4,500mAh battery that is claimed to deliver increased battery life by 25 percent. To recall the smartphone was recently introduced in Pakistan at PKR 34,999 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage.

Infinix Zero 8i price and availability details

Infinix Zero 8i will be available in India in single8GB RAM with 128GB of storage option. The price of the smartphone has been set at Rs 18,999. But the company will be offering the phone via Flipkart at a discounted price of Rs 14,999 for a limited period. The sale will kick start on December 9 and the device will be available in two colour options Silver Diamond and Black Diamond.

Infinix Zero 8i comes with a 6.85-inch full-HD+ IPS display with 1,080×2,460 pixels of resolution. The display offers a 20.5:9 aspect ratio and a 90.1 percent screen-to-body ratio as well as a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate support. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T processor paired with 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage. The storage can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card.

In terms of photos and videos, the device features a quad rear camera set up that includes 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 aperture. Moreover, there is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with a 119-degree Field of view, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and an AI lens. While on the front the device comes with a dual selfie camera setup for taking selfies and video chatting. The set up includes a 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens.

The mobile phone packs a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The device is touted to last up to 49 hours on a single charge. Moreover, the sensor on the phone includes an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor. In terms of connectivity there is  4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging. The phone also includes DTS-HD surround sound.
