Since its release in September, the iPhone 14 has had its first reduction. The price of the latest iPhone has been reduced from its initial price of Rs 79,900 to as little as Rs 72,999. It is apparently available at JioMart’s offline stores for Rs 77,900, but specific bank card and EMI offers can bring an extra cashback of Rs 5,000. The iPhone was launched at Apple’s “Far Out” event in September in India.

As per 91Mobiles, iPhone 14’s base 128GB storage option is currently selling for Rs 77,900. But after HDFC credit cards and EMI transactions are applied the buyers can get an additional cashback of Rs 5,000 bringing down the price to Rs 72,999. Note that Jio Mart offline stores are the only places where the revised price is in effect. Other online platforms like Amazon and Flipkart are still offering the device at Rs 79,999 which is its launch price.

The 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED screen of the iPhone 14 has a wide colour gamut, HDR, and 1200 nits of brightness. The screen comes with a pixel density of 460 ppi and supports a 60Hz refresh rate. The display is protected by a tough Ceramic Shield front cover that is water and dust-resistant, protecting them from typical spills and accidents. The smartphone has Face ID and is built to IP68 standards for water and dust protection. The Apple A15 Bionic SoC and up to 512GB of internal storage are housed inside. The device runs on iOS 16.

For photos and videos the iPhone 14 has two cameras on the back: a primary 12MP wide-angle sensor with a bigger f/1.5 aperture, sensor-shift OIS, and a secondary 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. The Ultra Wide camera provides a distinctive viewpoint for broader views and enhances low-light images using Photonic Engine. For selfies and video calls, the front camera has a 12MP sensor with autofocus. The addition of a brand-new “Action” mode results in astonishingly smooth-looking footage even while it is being captured during rapid movement and shaking. While both 30 and 24 frames per second in 4K are now available for Cinematic mode. Only iPhones can use end-to-end Dolby Vision HDR.
