iQoo Z6 5G with 120Hz display and Snapdragon 695 SoC launched in India

iQoo Z6 5G the new mid-range smartphone has officially made its debut in India today. The new handset is the successor of iQoo Z5 5G which was introduced in the nation last year. The mid-ranger is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. The biggest USP is its 120Hz display and triple rear camera set-up. The handset also includes a five-layer liquid cooling system for thermal control that keeps the device cool during long gaming sessions.

iQoo Z6 5G has been launched in India at Rs 15,999 for the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage variant. The phone is also available in a 6GB RAM variant for Rs 16,999 and an 8GB RAM option for Rs 17,999. The device is offered in two colour options of Chromatic Blue and Dynamo Black.

In terms of availability, it can be purchased through Amazon and the iQoo India eStore on March 22. Customers who purchase the iQoo Z6 5G using an HDFC Bank card or via EMI will receive an immediate discount of up to Rs 2,000. In addition, the phone will be offered with no-cost EMI choices and exchange savings.

iQoo Z6 5G is highlighted with a 6.58-inch full-HD+ display with 1,080×2,408 pixels of resolution. The screen comes with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. The device operates on Android 12 with Funtouch OS 12 on top and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 695 SoC paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Additionally, there is 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The built-in storage may also be expanded using a microSD card with up to 1TB.

The triple rear camera array includes a 50-megapixel main Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. In addition to this, there is a 2-megapixel macro sensor and a 2-megapixel bokeh lens are also included in the camera arrangement. As per the company the bokeh camera, on the other hand, is confined to the 6GB and 8GB variants and is not accessible on the base 4GB model. The iQoo Z6 5G has a 16-megapixel Samsung 3P9 selfie camera sensor on the front with an f/2.0 aperture.

The 5,000mAh battery of the iQoo Z6 5G supports 18W rapid charging. In terms of connectivity, there is 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone. An accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and proximity sensor are among the sensors onboard. The phone also has a fingerprint sensor on the side.

The smartphone also has a 5-Layer Liquid Cooling System that can detect heat sources and intelligently adjust to the best cooling solution which provides a heat dissipation system, lowering the core temperature by up to 10 degrees to provide extended hours of intense gameplay.

The iQOO Wireless Sport Neckband is gaming earphone that features an 11.2mm moving coil and CCAW voice coils, which offer Full Bodied Bass with precise Mids and Highs. The iQOO Wireless Neckband connects devices with a single tap and has an exceptional battery life of up to 18 hours. Aside from that, the IPX4 grade of the iQOO Wireless Neckband makes it suited for any weather situation.
