JBL introduced a new lineup of Bar Series Soundbars in India: Details Inside

The JBL Bar500 and JBL Bar800 have built-in Chromecast, Airplay2, Alexa, MRM, and access to over 300 online music streaming services.

JBL has announced the expansion of its portfolio with the launch of four new soundbars under its Bar series in India. The company has introduced Bar2.1DB_MKII, the Bar500, the Bar800, and the Bar1000. All the JBL soundbars are powered by Dolby Atmos. With the JBL ONE App, which is included with the JBL Bar500, JBL Bar800, and JBL Bar1000, you may customise the sound quality to your preferences by modifying the audio equalisation.

Price in India and availability details

The starting price for the new JBL Bar soundbar series is Rs 34,999, and the highest price is Rs 1,29,999. They can now be bought in India.

JBL Bar2.1DB_MKII features

Compact in size and producing 300 Watts of excellent JBL distinctive sound is the JBL Bar2.1 Deep Bass. The Bar can stream music from a phone or tablet using built-in Bluetooth, and it can be linked to a TV with just one optical or HDMI connection. Movies, sports, and music come to life right away thanks to Dolby Digital and JBL Surround Sound. Without the use of additional speakers or wires, Bar2.1 is intended to improve the immersive TV audio experience. Along with eARC HDMI, the soundbar includes a wireless down-firing subwoofer. DB MKII: 2.1 channel is included with the JBL Bar2.1. JBL Signature Sound and Dolby Digital are also supported.

JBL Bar500 features

The JBL Bar500’s 590W maximum power output and MultiBeam, a proprietary JBL technology that lets you enjoy a movie theatre experience in the comfort of your own home, bring movies to life. There is 5.1 channel support. Dolby Atmos 3D surround sound is also supported by the soundbar. The soundbar includes HDMI eARC with 4K Dolby Vision passthrough and PureVoice technology for crystal-clear voice. The wireless 10-inch subwoofer adds exhilarating, accurate bass while PureVoice technology improves voice clarity. Wi-Fi with AirPlay, Alexa Multi-Room Music, and Chromecast are also included.

The JBL Bar800 with Dolby Atmos features two up-firing drivers, entirely wireless detachable battery-powered rear surround speakers, and 720W of total output power to produce an immersive 3D cinema experience without the need for additional cords. It is a 7-channel soundbar with a 10-inch cordless down-firing subwoofer with PureVoice tech. Furthermore, Alexa Multi-Room Music, Chromecast, and Wi-Fi with AirPlay are supported. Additionally, it has JBL Signature Sound, HDMI eARC, and Dolby Atmos 3D surround sound.

JBL Bar1000 features

The 10-inch wireless down-firing subwoofer in the JBL Bar1000 produces booming bass and has a total output power of 880W. The JBL Bar1000 includes four up-firing drivers total—two in the bar and two in the detachable battery-powered surround speakers—and MultiBeam, which surrounds the listener in Dolby Atmos and DTS:X 3D surround sound with a wide, open soundstage without the use of additional cords.
