Lava Agni 2 has officially debuted in the Indian market today. The smartphone is the successor of Lava Agni 5G which was launched in November 2021. The device is powered by octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7050 5G SoC. In addition to this, the device features a curved AMOLED display and a quad camera set-up.
Lava Agni 2 price in India and sale details
Lava Agni 2 has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 21,999. It comes with an eye-catching Viridian colour glass back. The company will be offering Rs 2000 on all major credit & debit cards making the effective starting price only Rs 19,999. The phone will be exclusively available via Amazon in the country from May 24 at 10 AM onwards.
Lava Agni 2 specifications
Lava Agni 2 features a 6.78-inch full-HD+ curved AMOLED display with 2220×1080 pixels of resolution. The 3D dual curved design display has support for a 120Hz refresh rate. The display comes with 1.07 billion colour depth, which is truly a segment differentiator and supports HDR, HDR 10 and HDR 10+ and Widevine L1. It brings a Premium 3D Glass Back Design with Matte Finish with double reinforced glass protection. It has a super thin (2.3mm) bottom bezel and a screen-to-body ratio of 93.65%.
Under the hood, there is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, along with 8GB RAM, which is extendable up to 16GB RAM virtually. The device runs on Android 13 a no bloatware, no ads, and no unwanted notifications, along with a promised upgrade to Android 14 and 15 and assured quarterly security updates for 3 years.

Agni 2 also includes the latest 3rd Gen 2900mm Vapour Chamber cooling technology ensuring that intense gaming does not heat up the phone. In addition, X-Axis Linear Motor Haptics enhance the gaming and typing experience. Lava Agni 2 comes with a quad rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel 1.0-micron camera sensor.
In addition to this Agni 2 packs a 4,700mAh battery with a 66W wired fast charging adapter. According to the company, it can charge 50 percent of the battery in less than 16 minutes.
