LG introduced Sound Bars 2020 with Dolby ATMOS and DTS:X technology support in India

The electronics major LG today announced the launch of its latest range of soundbars in India. The company has introduced the new LG Sound Bar 2020 that includes four models namely SN10YG, SN8YG, SN6Y, SNH5 and SN4. All the audio devices come equipped with the Meridian technology, AI features for impressive sound quality for the audiophiles. In addition to this, the soundbars also support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X technology for enhanced performance.

Commenting at the launch, Mr. Hak Hyun Kim – HE Director said, “Customers today demand an all-immersive cinema and home entertainment experience along with cutting-edge design features and the convenience of not having to use multiple devices. The latest Sound Bar product range by LG not only delivers high-quality and immersive sound experience but also offers innovative features to create a more personalized experience for the users that take the cinema experience up a notch. LG has always sought out consumer feedback and implemented innovations specially catered to the evolving market demand while providing the most technologically advanced and superior product range for the families and modern generations today. With its newest launch, LG continues to innovate to meet the sound quality and experience desired by users today and create the most superior yet feasible user experience.”

The new LG Sound Bar 2020 delivers a 400-600W power output and is integrated with professional Meridian sound technology for professional Meridian sound technology, best quality sound and superior bass performance. The line-up also equips allowing Dolby Atmos and DTS:X technology to create a powerful and lifelike audio experience. Other features included are eARC that is touted to offer the best sound quality possible with high resolution lossless audio connections and more detail due to lossless playback. While the Dolby Atmos converts low-resolution audio to a high-resolution 24-bit format to make the audio sound more natural and lifelike and the 4K Pass-Through allows the TV to display a 4K picture, providing the best sound and picture combination.

In terms of design, the lineup the LG soundbar comes with cutting-edge and super slim design features in a premium Charcoal Gray fabric to give it a premium look. Moreover, the Soundbars have support for Google Assistant and AI Room Calibration that enables Soundbar to adjust according to your surroundings, creating the optimal Hi-Resolution sound that enhances the entertainment experience of users by making it smarter, more immersive and highly personalized. While also allowing easy usability by letting the user stream any application or file on your mobile device or simply Bluetooth/ Chromecast stream everything.

According to the company, the SN4 model will be up for sale in November while the rest of the LG Sound Bars 2020 line-up that includes SN 10YG, SN8YG, SN6Y and SNH5 will be available in select markets in October. The pricing of the LG Sound Bars are as follows:

SN10YG: Rs 79,990
