The Chinese smartphone company Motorola today announced the launch of the mid-range budget smartphone- Moto E40 in India. The device operates on Android 11 and is powered by Unisoc T700 octa-core SoC.
The phone includes a triple rear camera set up and also bears a 90Hz display. The handset packs a 5,000mAh battery and comes with 10W charging support.
Moto E40 technical specifications
Moto E40 features a 6.5-inch HD+ Max Vision HD+ display along with 1,600×720 pixels of resolution. The screen comes with 90Hz refresh rate support and offers a 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T700 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The internal storage can be expanded using a microSD card to up to 1TB. Moto E40 ships with Android 11 and includes a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
In terms of rear and front optics, the phone will come with a triple rear camera set up that includes a 48 MP main sensor with f/1.79 aperture, 2MP macro and another 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, it sports an 8MP front-facing camera that comes with an f/2.0 aperture.
In addition to this, the device will pack a 5,000mAh battery along with a 10W charger that is claimed to deliver 76 hours of music playback, 14 hours of video playback and 10 hours of web browsing.
In terms of connectivity features, there is 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.0, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g, GPS/ A-GPS and USB Type C port for charging available on the Moto E40. While the sensors on the phone include a proximity sensor, accelerometer and ambient light.
Moto E40 comes with IP52 certification for water and dust resistance, too.
Moto E40 price in India and availability details
Moto E40 has been in India in a single 4GB RAM with 64GB of storage option. The device is priced at Rs 9,999 and will be offered in two colour options of Carbon Gray and Pink Clay. The handset is scheduled to go on sale from October 17 via the e-commerce website Flipkart.
