Moto G 5G powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC launched

The device is the company’s budget 5G phone that soon will be rolled out to India also

Motorola is back with another new 5G smartphone in the market. The company has introduced its new 5G phone Moto G 5G, globally. The device has been launched in the European market first and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC. Moreover, it has a 5,000mAh battery and also features a hole-punch design display that houses a selfie camera and a triple camera set up at the back. With the launch of the smartphone, the company aims to take on OnePlus Nord N10 5G.

Moto G 5G specifications 

In terms of specifications, the Moto G 5G comes with a 6.7-inch full-HD+ LTPS display. It offers 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution and 394ppi pixel density. The 5G phone runs on Android 10 and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor coupled with 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage. The internal storage can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.

For photos and videos, Moto G 5G features a triple rear camera set up that includes a 48-megapixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture. In addition to this, there is an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 118-degree field of view and a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. For taking selfies and video calling there is a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture.

The Moto G 5G is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 20W TurboPower fast charging support and is touted to last up to 2 days on a single charge. As a connectivity option, there is 5G, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB Type-C port, GPS among others. Moreover, it has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor placed inside the Motorola batwing logo. Also, the 5G phone is IP52 rated for water and dust protection.

As listed on the company’s German site the specifications of the smartphone have only been revealed and the sale details are yet to be announced. The device will be available in a single 4GB RAM with 64GB storage option priced at EUR 299.99 that translates to Rs 26,200. The phone will be available in two colour options Volcanic Grey and Frosted Silver 

According to the company’s blog post the phone will also be released in Latin America, Middle East, Asia including India in a few weeks.
