Motorola G13 with 50MP quad pixel camera launched at Rs 9,499

The G13 is powered by the MediaTek G85 processor and comes with 4GB RAM.

Motorola has launched the new G13 smartphone in India at the price of Rs 9,499. This new addition to the G series comes at an affordable price and features an ultra-thin design with an acrylic glass (PMMA) body. Motorola G13 will go on sale starting 5th April 2023 on Flipkart, Motorola.in, and all major retail stores across the country. The 128GB storage variant has been priced at Rs 9,999 while the 64GB base variant fetches Rs 9,499. The smartphone is available in two colour options – Matte Charcoal and Lavender Blue.

Motorola G13 is powered by the  MediaTek Helio G85 processor with a 2.0 GHz octa-core CPU. The smartphone is available in two storage variants – 64GB and 128GB, with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM. OS duties are handled by stock Android 13. Motorola has promised one major OS upgrade along with 3 years of security updates.

The G13 gets a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a maximum refresh rate of 90Hz. The touch sampling rate has been capped at 576Hz for a fluid gaming experience. The fingerprint sensor is mounted to the side. The rear camera array features a 50MP primary shooter with Quad Pixel Technology, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. Motorola claims 4x better low light sensitivity on the primary camera. An 8MP selfie camera is housed in a punch-hole cutout up front. The selfies captured using this camera are social media ready.

Motorola G13 also gets two stereo speakers which are tuned by Dolby Atmos. On top of that, the smartphone is equipped with a massive 5,000 mAh battery with 10W charging support. In terms of protection, the smartphone is rated IP52 for water and dust resistance. The 613 also gets ‘Thinkshield for Mobile’, Motorola’s proprietary business-grade security.

As mentioned earlier, prices for the Motorola G13 start at Rs 9,499 for the 64GB variant, while the 128GB variant costs Rs 500 more. Jio users can get additional benefits worth up to Rs 2,500 with the purchase of Motorola G13. These benefits come in the form of cashback vouchers up to Rs 2,000 and a Myntra gift voucher worth Rs 500.
