Nokia C-Series is getting bigger. HMD Global has announced Nokia C22 in the Indian market. The phone is priced under Rs 10,000 and is claimed to provide three days of battery life. It comes with the Android 12 Go edition out of the box. The budget smartphone also includes a dual rear camera setup and 2.5D display glass. The company also provides a one-year replacement guarantee.

Nokia C22 price in India, sale details

Nokia C22’s price in India has been set at Rs 7,999 for the base 2GB RAM with 64GB storage option. Whereas the price of the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage option will be available at Rs 8,499. The phone will come in three colour options of Charcoal, Purple, and Sand.

Nokia C22 specifications

Nokia C22 features a 6.5-inch HD+ 2.5D display with 720×1,600 pixels of resolution. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9 with Auto HDR support for extra clarity. The device IP52 is rated for protection against dust and water. Under the hood, there is an octa-core Unisoc SC9863A SoC paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage. The internal storage can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card. Memory extension turns unused storage space into an additional 2GB of Virtual memory, making multitasking simple and smooth.

The phone is shipped with the Android 13 Go edition. The company promises to provide regular security updates for at least two years.

For photos and videos, the Nokia C22 includes a dual rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary lens and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor, along with an LED flash. For taking selfies and video calling the affordable smartphone comes with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

The 5,000mAh battery on the phone is supported by the Battery Saver feature. It is claimed to provide three days of battery life.
