Nokia brand licensee HMD Global earlier this month introduced Nokia T20 Tablet in the market. The Nokia tablet India’s availability was not announced yet but now the company has started teasing the device in the country as well. The Tab is expected to launch in India soon as it has now been listed on Flipkart.
The company has not yet revealed the exact date of the launch as Flipkart’s listing only mentions Coming Soon. Apart from this, the listing also highlights the key features of the upcoming tablet. It says that the SBI card users are eligible to avail 10 percent instant discount on the purchase of the Tab.
Nokia T20 Tablet price in India (expected)
Nokia T20 was launched in the European market in two variants- Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + 4G. The price of the tablet starts at EUR that is roughly around Rs 17,200 for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage. Whereas the latter one cost EUR 239 which translates to Rs 20,600 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage model.
Nokia T20 Tablet specifications and features
The Nokia T20 Tablet features a 10.4-inch 2K in-cell display with 2,000×1,200 pixels of resolution. The screen will offer a peak brightness of 400 nits and has been protected with toughened glass. It runs on Android 11 provided with two years of OS upgrades and three years of security updates. It is powered by an octa-core Unisonic Tiger T610 SoC painted with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage options. The storage can also be expanded up to 512GB using a microSD card.
For the optics, the Nokia Tablet comes with an 8-MP camera sensor on the back of the device along with an LED flash. While on the front it includes a 5MP selfie camera sensor.
The device boasts an 8,200mAh battery that comes with 15W charging support but is shipped with a 10W charger inside the box. The battery delivers 15 hours of internet surfing, 7 hours of conference calls and 10 hours watching videos.
In terms of connectivity, the Nokia Tablet includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type C port for changing. The Tablet also includes a dual speaker and has an IP52 rating for splash and dust resistance.
