OnePlus 10 Pro specifications leaked, to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC

The device is said to come with a 32MP selfie camera and a 5,000mAh battery.

The OnePlus 10 Series is expected to be released soon. OnePlus’s upcoming flagship has been spotted and leaked several times. The device was earlier spotted being tested in China and Europe, but now OnePlus 10 Pro specifications have surfaced online. The company’s top of the line handset is said to come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and with upgraded battery life as well as optics over its predecessor. One should note that the OnePlus 10 series is going to be the company’s first flagship variants to use Oppo and OnePlus’s shared operating system. Reportedly the OnePlus 10 Pro is likely to have a 6.7-inch QHD+ display along with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The new phone will come with an IP68 rating for protection against dust and water resistance.

The smartphone is said to pack Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, which has not been announced but will be out soon. The device will be offered with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. According to the report, the handset could house a 5,000mAh battery. 

For the optics, the OnePlus 10 Pro is expected to arrive with a triple rear camera set up that could include a 48MP primary sensor. In addition to this, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and an 8MP telephoto lens. Its front camera will also be upgraded to 32MP. The last generation was equipped with a 16MP selfie camera.

Recently, the smartphone’s renders were leaked revealing the entire design of the OnePlus 10 Pro. The alleged renders showcased a big sized rectangular shaped camera module with Hasselblad laid in the corner while the company’s logo is seen engraved at the centre of the rear panel.

The renders further revealed that the OnePlus 10 pro will have a curved display measuring 6.7-inch. The screen will offer a refresh rate of 120Hz and a 20:9 aspect ratio. There will be a hole punch cutout at the top centre of the screen while bezels are sleek. In addition to this, the phone is expected to come in three colour options of black, light blue and white.

In terms of availability, previous reports suggested that the OnePlus 10 Series is being tested in Europe and China. Therefore the lineup is likely to see a January launch next year or it could be pushed to February in order to take on Samsung Galaxy S22 series.
