One Plus 7 line up of smartphones have started receiving the new software update in India. The company has rolled out new January OxygenOS updates for the OnePlus 7T Pro, OnePlus 7 Pro, and OnePlus 7. The OTA update also brings the January security patch to all the three devices. To recall all three devices were launched last year in India. The software update also includes VoWiFi calling support for the Reliance Jio users.
The Chinese premium smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has rolled out OxygenOS 10.0.7 for European and global market and OxygenOS 10.3.1 for its OnePlus 7T Pro users in India. A staff member, Manu J shared a detailed changelog on the company’s forum.
According to the company, the release of the updates will be in a staged manner. Initially, it will reach a limited number of users after which it will have a broader rollout in a few days after making sure there are no critical bugs. The download cannot be made via VPN because this might not work as the rollout Is not based on regions and is randomly pushed out to a limited number of devices the forum explained.
According to the changelog the company has optimised the RAM management, the black/blank screen issue for some app has also been improved, a new feature to support reminders for privacy alerts has also been added. Furthermore, the system stability has been improved and general bugs have also been fixed. The Over the Air software update also includes the January security patch.
In addition to this, OxygenOS 10.3.1 also brings VoWifi registration for the Jio users in India. For the cloud service in the country, the update also brings supported synchronization with Notes and Contacts. The users also get optimised message notification, improved the mode and app selection, added location calendar auto-track feature. In addition to this, there is a Cricket score as a card in your Shelf for quickest access to live match scores and team updates for the users in India.
