OnePlus 8T all set to go official today in India: Here is how you can watch the live stream

OnePlus 8T is all set to launch in India. The device is an upgraded variant of the existing OnePlus 8T series. The new variant will be shipping a 4,500mAh battery and support for Warp Charge 65. In addition to this, there will be a 120Hz Fluid Display 100% DCI-P3, the colour space favoured by the film industry. Read on to know more about what we can expect from today’s event.

Today OnePlus will be hosting a virtual launch event to unveil its latest mobile handset in India that is OnePlus 8T. The online launch event will kickstart at 7.30 PM IST and will be webcast to company’s all the social media channels via OnePlus World and Youtube.

Right now, there are no words from the company with regard to the official pricing of the device but recently the phone got listed on Amazon Germany website which accidentally the OnePlus 8T configurations details as well as its pricing. As per the listing, the smartphone will be offered in two different configurations 8GB RAM with 128GB storage variant and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage variant priced at EUR 599 (approx Rs 51,700) and EUR 699 (approx Rs 60,000) respectively. The handset will come in two colour options Aquamarine Green and Lunar Silver.

Little by little OnePlus shared quite a few information about the OnePlus 8T. In terms of design, the device is tipped to arrive in an Aquamarine Green and Lunar Silver. The camera module on the back has been shifted to the side however OnePlus 8 has it in the centre. The phone will be featuring a rectangular-shaped quad rear camera module accompanied by a flash and what seems to be a laser autofocus sensor. It will have a glossy finish and a hole-punch display with the cut out placed on the top left. The power button and the toggle switch are positioned on the right side whereas the volume rocker key has been placed on the left side of the phone. Down below it has a USB Type-C port the speaker grille, and SIM tray slot.

In addition to this, the phone will be having a 120Hz display refresh rate and 65W fast charging support for the 4,500mAh battery. OnePlus 8T is also confirmed to run Android 11-based OxygenOS 11. It is likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. Apart from this, the quad rear camera setup is expected to consist of a primary 48-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a secondary 16-megapixel sensor, a 5-megapixel lens and a 2-megapixel sensor. While on the front it is likely to have a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
