OnePlus Nord has now been unveiled in India at a price of Rs 24,999. The open sale for this much-awaited smartphone will start on August 4 at 12pm IST. However, OnePlus notified that the 6GB + 64GB model of the Nord will be available exclusively at Amazon in September.
Besides the 6GB + 64GB variant, OnePlus Nord smartphone will also come in two other models:
- The 8GB + 128GB storage variant at a price of Rs 27,999
- The 12GB + 256GB storage variant at a price of Rs 29,999
According to the official announcement, OnePlus Nord will go on sale in two colour options to choose from: Blue Marble and Gray Onyx. However, news is rife that the 6GB + 64GB model will be available only in Gray Onyx colour.
Interestingly, OnePlus Nord smartphone comprises of four rear cameras and two front cameras. The Nord comes with the same 48 MP primary sensor as the OnePlus 8, complete with optical image stabilization (OIS) to eliminate blur and shakiness from every photo. The Nord also comes with features that can remove unwanted noise and sharpen things up in tricky shooting scenarios, like harsh sunlight.
Furthermore, OnePlus Nord comes with 32MP Sony IMX616 and another 8MP camera that offer 105-degree ultra-wide angle for selfie lovers,. The Nord’s group selfie algorithm is automatically enabled when it detects a minimum of three faces in a shot with adequate lighting conditions. The group selfie algorithm cannot be enabled if there are more than six people in a shot or in HDR scenes. OnePlus Nord’s group selfie algorithm works on both the primary selfie camera and the ultra-wide angle. OnePlus claims that the Nord’s primary front camera can record in 4K at 60 fps. The 90HZ display of this smartphone makes swiping snappier and scrolling smoother.
OnePlus Nord comes pre-installed with OxygenOS 10.5 that completes your handset with all the features you were expecting, like Dark Theme, gesture navigations, and Zen Mode. In order to enable seamless, helpful and safest user experience, OnePlus Nord smartphone also comes with Google’s communications apps – Messages, Phone, and Duo.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G 5G Mobile Platform along with improved CPU speeds, the smartphone renders 30 percent faster graphics than its predecessor. Moreover, it has up to 12 GB of RAM so Nord can run all your favourite apps at once stutter-free.
Warp Charge 30T isn’t all about speed, but it can refill OnePlus Nord from 0 to 70 percent in just half an hour. The smartphone maker claims that its charging technology is also smart enough to keep your phone cool during heavy use.
The Nord is ready for 5G. According to the smartphone manufacturer, “5G might not be available for you just yet – it’s a work in progress kind of thing. Still, it’s nice to know Nord is ready for everything that 5G can offer, both now, and whenever it finally arrives in full force.”
