The Chinese smartphone company Oppo has announced the launch of Oppo A17 in the Indian market. The device is powered by MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. It has a 5,000mAh battery onboard and features a 50MP dual rear camera set-up. The handset comes in two colour variants with a leather appearance.

Oppo A17 has been launched in a single 4GB RAM with 64GB storage variant. The price of the entry-level phone is set at Rs 12,499 in India. The device will be available in two colour options of Midnight Black and Sunlight Orange with leather finishes.
For purchases made using the Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, and Kotak Bank cards the buyers will be able to get an instant discount of up to Rs 1,500.

Oppo A17 features a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD display with 720×1,612 pixels of resolution. It has an 89.8% body-to-screen ratio and up to 60Hz refresh rate as well as a pixel density of 269ppi. Additionally, the new smartphone features an IPX4 water resistance grade.
The device is driven by MediaTek Helio G35 SoC along with 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage and this storage can be expanded with a microSD card with up to 1TB. By making use of unused phone storage, the RAM can be increased to 8GB.
A 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.8 lens make up the Oppo A17’s dual rear cameras. A 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 lens is located at the front of the device for selfies and video calls.
