Chinese technology company Oppo has launched its Oppo K3 smartphone in India today. The company was teasing the Oppo K3 smartphone for many days now and today, it has finally taken wraps off it in India. Since the device had already launched in China some time back, we already knew about its specifications and features. At the event today, the Chinese brand has finally revealed the price and availability of the smartphone in India.
Oppo K3 smartphone‘s key highlights include a dual rear camera setup, a pop-up selfie sensor, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. We should mention that Oppo recently also launched its A9 smartphone in the country that offers a 4,020mAh battery. Like Oppo K3, it also has a dual rear camera setup on its back panel. Oppo K3 price and availability
Oppo K3 smartphone is available in two variants in India – one with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and the other with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. While the former costs Rs 16,990, the latter can be picked up at Rs 19,990. The company has also announced a number of launch offers with which, the effective price of the two variants comes down to Rs 14,990 and Rs 17,990 respectively. The sale of the Oppo K3 smartphone will begin on July 23 at 12 pm IST exclusively on Amazon India.
Oppo K3 specifications
Oppo K3 smartphone has support for dual SIM cards and runs Android 9.0 Pie skinned with ColorOS 6.0. The handset features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) AMOLED display that has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The screen also comes with a DC Dimming feature.
Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC, Oppo K3 comes with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The new device by Oppo comes with GameBoost 2.0 that gets Frame Boost and Touch Boost to enhance the gaming experience for users. In addition to this, there is LinkBoost 2.0 that is said to uplift the network performance of the handset.
For imaging duties, the smartphone has a dual rear camera setup that comprises of a 16MP primary sensor coupled with a 2MP depth sensor. The cameras are backed by AI portrait mode and AI scene detection. In addition to this, there is Ultra Clear Night View 2.0 that can brighten dark shots.
On the front panel, there is a 16MP sensor that is housed in a pop-up selfie camera module. The new smartphone from Oppo houses a 3,765mAh battery that has support for the company’s VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology.
