Panasonic today announced the launch of the LUMIX S9 Compact Full-Frame Mirrorless Camera, the smallest and lightest in the LUMIX S Series for the Indian market. The Mirrorless Camera features a 24.2-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor similar to the flagship LUMIX S5II. The camera is available in multiple colour variations and is equipped with PDAF for excellent subject tracking and Active I.S. for reducing handheld blurring, making it an ideal choice for content creators.
Panasonic LUMIX S9 price in India starts at Rs 1,49,990 for the S9 body and INR 1,79,990 for the S9 kit with LUMIX S9 body & 20-60mm lens. The mirrorless camera comes in four colour options of Jet Black, Crimson Red, Dark Olive, and Night Blue. The device can be purchased via UMIX Lounges, dealers across India, and Panasonic’s D2C site in the country.
The LUMIX S9 camera from Panasonic features 5-axis dual image stabilisation, phase detection autofocus (PDAF), and real-time autofocus. Similar to the flagship LUMIX S5II, the newest engine and the approximately 24.2-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor capture great details with realistic tones.
For convenience, it has a 3-inch TFT LCD flip screen with static touch control that can be tilted. The camera allows for WiFi image and video sharing via the LUMIX Lab app and comes equipped with built-in LUT presets for real-time viewing. Editing on the fly is possible with the LUMIX Lab app for iOS and Android smartphones. With the new software, there’s also a faster data transfer from the camera to the smartphone.
Users can also access popular colour styles and filters straight in-camera with the REAL TIME LUT tool. To guarantee steady and continuous video even when moving, it also enables perspective and distortion correction. The LUMIX S9 also has an MP4 lite video recording mode that records excellent, high-resolution videos that are optimised for smartphones. This feature makes the camera perfect for sharing content on social media apps.
