On August 5, POCO M6 Pro 5G is confirmed to launch in India. The company has made the announcement through a teaser giving us a preview of the upcoming smartphone. The company has also confirmed that the device will be available for purchase via Flipkart in the country. The dedicated microsite has also been created on the e-commerce platform to tease its availability.
Himanshu Tandon, country head of POCO India took to X previously known as Twitter to share the official teaser of POCO M6 Pro 5G. In addition to this, the Flipkart landing page not only gives a glimpse of the smartphone but also reveals some of the specifications of the phone.
It is confirmed that the POCO M6 Pro 5G will include a dual rear camera sensor alongside an LED flash. The teaser revealed a turquoise colour option. The side frames seem to be made up of steel frame and the SIM slot is positioned on the lift side of the frame. While the power button and volume rocker sits on the right.

The landing page reveals that POCO M6 Pro 5G will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC by Qualcomm. It has a 437,000+ ANTUTU Score. In addition to this, the device was also spotted on Geekbench with the model number 23076PC4BI revealing the key specs just some days back. There it has a 2.2GHz processor paired with Adreno 613 GPU. As per the listing, the handset includes 6GB of RAM and runs on Android 13 OS. The has a 922 single-core score and a multi-core score of 2,110.
Speculations suggest that the M6 Pro 5G will include a 6.79-inch FHD+ IPS LCD. The screen is likely to get 90Hz refresh rate support. The dual rear camera setup may include a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary lens. In terms of selfies, the phone could also include a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
Poco M6 Pro 5G will probably have a 5,000mAH battery with 18W fast charging support. In terms of software, the smartphone is expected to ship MIUI 14 based on Android 13 out of the box.
