Poco X3 GT powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC and 67W fast charging launched

The device comes with a 120Hz display and a 5,000mAh battery.

The Chinese smartphone company, Poco, has expanded its gaming lineup with the launch of another gaming smartphone in the market. The company has introduced the Poco X3 GT as its latest device in Malaysia and Vietnam. It is an upgraded version of the original Poco X3 which debuted last year. The key highlights of the smartphone include a triple rear camera setup, a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging and an octa-core MediaTek SoC.

Poco X3 GT has debuted in Malaysia and Vietnam, The device is priced at MYR 1,299 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model that translates to Rs 22,800. Whereas, the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage model will be available at MYR 1,599 that translates to Rs 28,000. It will come in three colour options of Cloud White, Stargaze Black, and Wave Blue. On the other hand in Vietnam, it will be available in a single 8GB RAM with 256GB storage model priced at VND 7,990,000 that comes around Rs 25,800.

The Poco X2 GT is also scheduled to go on a flash sale on August 3 and August 4 in Malaysia where it can be grabbed for MYR 1,199 translating to Rs 21,000 and MYR 1,399 translates to Rs 24,600. In Vietnam during the flash sale on August 5 the phone will be priced at VND 6,990,000 translating to Rs 22,600.

Like we told you, the Poco X3 GT is an upgraded variant of Poco X3. It will come with a 6.6-inch full-HD+ display with 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution. The screen also offers a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate support along with a colour gamut coverage of  DCI-P3 and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The gaming smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC, paired with the Mali-G77 GPU, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

On the camera front, there is a triple rear camera setup that houses a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 aperture. Furthermore, there is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture. Upfront there is a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.45 aperture for taking selfies and video calling.

The Poco X3 GT also ships a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. Additionally, the phone includes dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support. On the connectivity front, there is 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Whereas the sensors on the phone include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner,  ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, and more.

The smartphone is unlikely to launch in India.
