OnePlus Nord CE 3 is scheduled to launch alongside OnePlus Nord 3 5G and Nord Buds 2R in India at its upcoming Summer Launch Event on July 5. Just ahead of the official announcement the company has begun sharing the key specs of Nord CE 3. In the latest development, OnePlus has shared which chipset will be powering its upcoming phone. In addition to this, the colour options of the smartphone have also been confirmed.

The dedicated event page on the OnePlus website has already gone up and includes some of the most important information about the OnePlus Nord CE 3. The official page for the OnePlus Nord CE 3 teased the processor in addition to the smartphone’s design elements and colour options. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G SoC is confirmed to power the phone which is said to enable smooth image processing and gaming. This will be a good upgrade over Mediatek Dimensity 900 that is present on its predecessor OnePlus Nord CE 2. Also, the upcoming smartphone will come in an Aqua Surge shade. Besides this shade, the smartphone is likely to be available in a Grey Shimmer colour option.

The dedicated event page also makes mention of a triple camera setup on the smartphone’s back. As per the teasers, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 will include two spherical camera modules to house the camera sensors. Just next to the lenses, an LED flash is given. The company’s logo can be clearly seen on its rear panel. Previous leaks suggest that the phone would have a flat display with a punch-hole cutout to include a selfie camera at the front.

Rumours suggest that the phone may feature a 6.7-inch Fluid AMOLED display. The screen is likely to support a refresh rate of 120Hz. In addition to this, there will be 950 nits of screen brightness. The OnePlus Nord CE 3 is expected to run on OxygenOS 13.1 based on Android 13.

While the triple rear camera setup is speculated to have a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide with 112-degree FOV and a 2MP 4cm macro sensor. For selfies, it may include a 16MP front-facing camera. Besides this, it may boast a 5,000mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging support.

Even though OnePlus hasn’t officially verified the OnePlus Nord CE 3’s above-mentioned specifications, you may still consider them to be speculative till they are made official.
