Realme launched Realme XT with a 64-megapixel camera in India

The Chinese smartphone brand Realme today took the wraps off its new Realme XT. The smartphone was launched at a dedicated event hosted in New Delhi today. Realme XT is the first smartphone of the company that features a quad-camera along with a 64MP camera sensor. Realme is the first smartphone brand to launch a 64MP camera phone in the country. The key specifications include a quad rear camera module with a 64-megapixel camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC and a 4,000mAh battery. Apart from that, the company has also introduced Realme XT 730G, a gaming-centric smartphone. We have detailed all the prices as well as its specifications below.

Realme XT price and launch offers

The company has launched the phone in three storage variants 4GB with 64GB of internal storage, 6GB with 64GB of storage and 8GB with 128GB of internal storage options. The 4GB with 64GB storage option will be available at Rs 15999 while the 6GB with 64GB storage model can be purchased at Rs 16999. The high-end model which is 8GB with 128GB of internal storage will sell at Rs 18999. Realme XT 730 G for the hardcore gamers will also be available soon.

The company has also launched 10,000mAh Realme Power Bank at Rs 1299 and Realme Xt case at Rs 399. The company also launched Realme Buds Wireless earphones at a price under Rs 1799. All the accessories will be available online and offline stores.

The interested buyers can purchase the phone via e-commerce website Flipkart and from September 16 at 12 noon. The phone is available in two colour options- Pearl Blue and Pearl White.

Realme XT specifications

Realme XT comes with 6.4-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED panel with a waterdrop notch at the top and is protected with a 3D bending Gorilla Glass 5 on the front panel as well on the rear panel. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC processor that we have also already seen on the on Realme 5 Pro. The device runs on Android 9 Pie, with ColorOS 6 on top. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. The mobile phone will be available in three storage options 4GB/64GB internal storage, 6GB/64GB of storage and 8GB/128GB of storage options.

Coming on the imaging capabilities, the phone has a quad rear camera set up that is combined with a  Samsung’s 64-megapixel GW1 sensor as the main camera with an f/1.8 aperture that is capable of capturing high-resolution pictures. In addition to this, it has an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel portrait camera. For taking selfies it features a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front. It packs a 4,000mAh battery that is supported by a 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charger.
