The Chinese smartphone company Realme has finally unveiled its new smartphone in India that comes with 5G connectivity features. Today in New Delhi the company rolled out Realme X50 Pro 5G with Snapdragon 865 SoC coupled with 5G modem. It runs on Realme UI on top of Android 10 out of the box along with 65W SuperDart flash charge technology, dual selfie cameras and 90Hz display. Realme X50 Pro 5G pricing and availability details
Realme X50 Pro 5G has been launched in India today. The device was set to be launched during MWC 2020, but due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the trade show got cancelled. And the company had no choice but to unveil it at an online event in India. Now the company has launched the 5G phone in the country in three variants 6GB RAM with 128GB storage at Rs 37,999, while the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage option will be available at Rs 39,999. The top model of the newly launched mobile phone that is the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage has been priced at Rs 44,999. The device will be available in two colour options: Mass Green and Rust Red. The smartphone will be available for purchase from today at 6 PM onward via online platforms Flipkart and Realme.com.
Specifications and features
Realme X50 Pro 5G features a 6.44-inch full-HD+ display with a dual-hole punch, 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution. The display offers 90Hz of refresh rate, 180Hz sampling rate, an in-display fingerprint sensor and is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It runs on Realme UI based on top of Android 10. The device is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It packs a 4,200mAh battery with 65W SuperDart flash charging technology. It is compatible with both 30W VOOC 4.0 flash charging and 18W QC / PD fast charging.
In terms of imaging capabilities, Realme X50 Pro 5G comes equipped with quad-rear camera setup. The camera set up includes a 64-megapixel Samsung GW1 sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with 105-degree field-of-view, a 12-megapixel telephoto camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For taking selfies there is a dual camera set up on the front that includes a 2-megapixel Sony IMX 616 main sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens.
