Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi introduced its entry-level phone Redmi 9A. At the time of the launch, the company offered it in three variants 2GB, 3GB and 4GB RAM variants. Today in China the company has launched another 6GB RAM version that comes with 128GB of storage. To recall the device was also launched in India two options 2GB and 3GB RAM. The key highlight of the phone includes a single rear camera, selfie camera and a 5,000mAh battery.
Redmi 9A 6GB RAM variant price and availability
Redmi 9A has confirmed another new Redmi 9A configuration. The 6GB RAM with a 128GB storage option is a new variant that has been added to the list. It has been priced at CNY 999 that translates to Rs 10,900. The variant is scheduled for sale in China on September 29 that is tomorrow via Mi.com. The new variant will be available in three colour options Clear Sky Blue, Lake Green, and Sand Black.
To recall the company recently also introduced 4GB RAM with a 128GB storage option that comes at CNY 799 that translates to Rs 8,600. While the other 2GB RAM with 32GB storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB storage is available at CNY 499 and CNY 599 that translates to Rs 5,300, and Rs 6,400 respectively.
On the other hand, Redmi 9A is available in India in 2GB RAM and 3GB RAM variants priced at Rs 6799 and Rs 7,499 respectively. There is no word from the company whether the 4GBand 6GB RAM variant will land in India or not.
Redmi 9A specifications
Redmi 9A runs MIUI 11 based on Android 10 and it comes with a 6.53-inch HD+ LCD Dot Drop display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 720×1,600 pixels of resolution. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 SoC with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 512GB using a microSD card.
For optics, there is a single 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and for selfies, there’s a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture.
In terms of connectivity, there is a 3.5mm audio jack, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and Micro USB port. The device comes equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging support.
