Redmi Note 10T 5G powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and with triple cameras launched in India

Finally, the Redmi Note 10T 5G has arrived in India. The company has officially introduced the 5G smartphone in the country under the budget midrange segment. The key highlights of the smartphone include a 90Hz 6.5-inch AdaptiveSync DotDisplay and a triple rear camera set-up. The device is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. Note that the smartphone has debuted in India as the fifth model to the Redmi Note 10 series in the country.

Redmi Note 10T 5G has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 13,499 for the base 4GB RAM with a 64GB storage variant. The price of the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage is set at Rs 15,999. Both the models will be offered in distinct colour options of chromium White, Graphite Black, Metallic Blue, and Mint Green. The handset is scheduled to go on sale from July 26 via Amazon, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and offline retailers in the country. In addition, HDFC credit-card members can avail of discounts up to Rs 1000.

Redmi Note 10 series already includes Redmi Note 10 series that already comprises the Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, and the Redmi Note 10S. The company has expanded this lineup with the introduction of the Redmi Note 10T 5G. It features a  6.5-inch full-HD+ AdaptiveSync DotDisplay. It comes with 90Hz refresh rate support and a 20:9 aspect ratio. There is a  Reading Mode 3.0 feature that helps in reducing the strain on the eye and ensuring comprehensive eye protection. Whereas the  Corning Gorilla Glass further adds resistance and protects the device from accidental drops and scratches. The device ships MIUI on top of Android 11 and is powered by octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.

The camera capabilities have been taken care of by a  triple rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 aperture. Further assisted by a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. For selfies and video calling the handset sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

Redmi Note 10T 5G is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. In terms of connectivity, there is 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, Infrared (IR) blaster, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm audio port. Whereas the sensor on the phone includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor.
