Redmi has announced the launch of a new storage option for the Redmi Note 12 5G. The device will soon be offered in a third storage option according to the company. The phone debuted in India in two different configurations alongside other models Note 12 Pro 5G and the Note 12 Pro+ 5G earlier this year. Redmi Note 12 5G new storage price in India and sale details
The Redmi Note 12 5G will now be available in a new 8GB RAM and 256GB, priced at Rs 21,999. Before this, the Redmi Note 12 5G was only offered in India in two storage options: 4GB RAM with 128GB storage which costs Rs 17,999, and 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, which cost Rs 19,999. The phone comes in three colour options of Frosted Green, Matte Black, and Mystique Blue.
The new high-end storage option is scheduled to go on sale on April 6 in India at noon via Amazon and official Mi stores, and offline retail stores.

Redmi Note 12 5G specifications
The Redmi Note 12 5G features 6.67 inches and with a 1,080 x 2,400-pixel resolution. The screen has a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display offers 1200 nits of peak brightness. The phone runs on MIUI 13 based on Android 12 and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 octa-core SoC and up to 6GB of RAM is included in the smartphone. It includes an internal memory of 128GB UFS 2.2 and supports microSD cards that can be increased up to 512GB.
The Note 12 5G comes with a 48-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There is an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies. It also houses a 5,000mAh battery that comes with 33W fast charging support.
