“In accordance to the above, Jio will be introducing NEW ALL-IN-ONE plans with unlimited voice and data. These plans will have a fair usage policy for calls to other mobile networks. The new plans will be effective from 6th December 2019 (06/12/2019). Although, the NEW ALL-IN-ONE plans will be priced up to 40% higher, staying true to its promise of being CUSTOMER-FIRST, Jio customers will get up to 300% more benefits. While remaining committed to the ultimate interest of the consumer, Jio will take all necessary steps to help sustain the Indian telecommunications industry. Jio will continue to work with the Government on the consultation process for revision of telecom tariffs and looks forward to participation from all other stakeholders,” the company said.

As we mentioned earlier Vodafone Idea has also launched its new plans for its prepaid subscribers in order to deal with a huge massive loss of Rs 50,922 crores in the third quarter of this year. The company has launched Rs 149, Rs 249, Rs 299 and Rs 399 prepaid plans. All the plans come with unlimited voice calls (FUP of 1000 mins for off-net calls) with 28 days of validity. These plans offer 2GB, 1.5GB, 2GB and 3GB of data per day respectively. Rs 149 plans offer 300 free SMSs and Rs 249, Rs 299 and Rs 399 prepaid plans provide 100 SMSs free per day.
