Samsung at CES 2024: Launches AI-powered 2024 Neo QLED, MICRO LED, OLED and Lifestyle Displays

At CES 2024, Samsung Electronics announced its latest QLED, MICRO LED, OLED and Lifestyle display lineups. The new lineup is powered by NQ8 AI Gen3 Processor offering consumers AI-powered features secured by Samsung Knox.

Samsung Neo QLED 8K and 4K TVs

The latest Samsung Neo QLED 8K and 4K TVs come equipped with NQ8 AI Gen3, Samsung’s most recent and cutting-edge TV processor. As per the company, its neural processing unit (NPU) is twice as quick as its predecessor’s. 8K AI Upscaling Pro uses NQ8 AI Gen3 to improve 8K upscaling, sharpening low-resolution content so that it is displayed in ultra-high resolution.AI Motion Enhancer Pro employs the processor to stream high-definition sports content to address common issues in sporting content — such as ball distortion. The feature using deep learning applies the proper ball detection model after automatically identifying the sport.

Using AI to accurately control mini LEDs, the Real Depth Enhancer Pro provide details to fast-moving scenes. Images are rendered more realistic and three-dimensional by identifying the area of a scene that the human eye would normally focus on.

In terms of audio, the upcoming Neo QLED 8K TV boasts 2024 Q-Symphony allowing users to connect multiple wireless speakers and a soundbar to a TV or projector for perfect audio synchronization across shows, movies, and playlists. The Pro-Active Voice Amplifier is a proprietary AI dialogue booster that greatly improves dialogue and voices on screen. It improves voice input by separating voices from mixed audio.

Samsung’s latest Samsung Neo QLED 8K and 4K TVs will run on 2024 Tizen OS that will offer personalized content and service experience based on different accounts set up on smart TVs. Each family member with a Samsung Smart TV can set up a profile for personalized recommendations and a more customized overall experience. The new operating system will provide Designed for Samsung Gaming Hub accessories, Mobile Smart Connect, Multi Control, improved Samsung TV Plus, Mobile Smart Connect, 360 Audio and Vibrary.

Whereas, the Samsung Daily+ will also offer an array of services and features like Workout Tracker, TechnoGym, F45, FlexI, Tail and Multi Control.

Samsung Micro LED

The latest lineup of Samsung Micro LED appears to be a piece of transparent glass, sporting a minuscule MICRO LED chip and a precision manufacturing process that eliminates light refraction and seams. This allows the transparent MICRO LED to create a clear, unobstructed picture for various use cases in both homes and B2B environments. Micro LED oasts a modular architecture that lets customers customise the shape, size, and ratio of screens to match any location.

Samsung OLED Lineups

Samsung has introduced the S95D model of Samsung’s 2024 OLED TVs offering a massive 77-inch screen. As per the company, the screen is 20% brighter than previous models, with deep and rich blacks and AI-enhanced colour accuracy is Pantone Validated. The company has also introduced the S90D and S85D in various sizes, from 42 Inches to 83 inches. For immersive viewing in daylight, the new 2024 OLED screens will come with OLED Glare Free” technology. It is said to maintain colour fidelity and minimise reflections while retaining image clarity. Also, the models support high refresh rates of up to 144 Hz, allowing gamers and sports enthusiasts to see crisp action and fluid motion on their screens.
