Samsung has officially announced the launch of its next 5G smartphone. The Company has expanded its A-series lineup with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy A22s 5G. The device has debuted in Russia. The phone features an LCD display. It comes with a triple rear camera set up and a 5,000mAh battery. The handset is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. Samsung Galaxy A22s 5G price and availability
The price and the availability details of the Samsung Galaxy A22s are yet to be confirmed. However, when it goes on sale it would come in two different configurations of 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 4GB RAM with 128GB internal memory. The device will be available in three colour options of Mint, Gray and White.

In terms of specification, the Samsung Galaxy A22s 5G is highlighted with a 6.6 inch full HD+TFT LCD display with 1,080×2,408 pixels of resolution. It has a dewdrop notch, supports a 90Hz refresh rate and 20:9 aspect ratio. The device runs on OneUI 3.1 on top of Android 11 OS. The mobile phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage options. The memory can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.
On the camera front, there is a triple camera set up on the back of the Samsung Galaxy A22s 5G. It houses a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.8. A secondary 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The rear camera set-up supports 10x digital zoom and HD video resolution. Upfront there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The Samsung Galaxy A22s 5G is fueled by a 5,000mAh battery that comes with 15W fast charging support. The device further includes Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack for connectivity. Apart from the smartphone features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometrics.
