Today marks the official arrival of the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G in the Indian market, following its global launch. The Exynos 1280 SoC powers the device, which has a quad rear camera setup. In addition, the handset has an IP67 rating and a 120Hz refresh rate display.

Samsung Galaxy A53 5G has been launched in India in two variants 6GB RAM with 128GB storage priced at Rs 34,499. Whereas the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage option will be available at Rs 35,999. The handset will be offered in Awesome Black, Awesome Blue, Awesome Peach, and Awesome White colour options.
The 6GB RAM model of the smartphone is available with an EMI starting at Rs 4,312 on the other hand the 8GB RAM variant is available with an EMI starting at Rs 4,499. During the pre-order period, there will be an instant cashback of Rs 3,000 on the purchase of the phone through ICICI bank credit cards.
The newly launched premium midrange smartphone by Samsung is up for pre-orders via the company’s official website with sales beginning from March 27.

The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G smartphone features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity O display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The phone is powered by OneUI 4.1 on top of Android 12. The device is powered by a 5nm Exynos 1280 SoC with up to 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. A microSD card can be used to increase the storage capacity to 1TB.
The Samsung Galaxy A53 features a quad rear camera setup that includes a 64MP main sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro lens. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone has a 32MP front-facing camera.
The handset is dust and water-resistant, with an IP67 rating. In addition, the phone comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. The phone’s connectivity options include 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4G+5GHz), and Bluetooth v 5.1. Onboard sensors include an accelerometer, a fingerprint sensor, a gyro sensor, a geomagnetic sensor, a hall sensor, a light sensor, and virtual proximity sensing.
