The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series is rumoured to launch on August 5. On this day the company will reportedly host an Unpacked 2020 event online, due to the coronavirus pandemic. Up till now, we came across lots of rumours, reports and leaks with regard to the sequel of Galaxy Note 10. So far the colour options, display screen and chipset details have been tipped. In a new development, a tipster has claimed that the Ultra variant of the upcoming device is going to feature an LTPO OLED display with a higher refresh of 120Hz. In addition to this, live images of the device showcasing the front panel have also come to light.
News is abuzz that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will be powered by Snapdragon 865+ SoC. This chipset is yet to be announced by Qualcomm. Moreover, it will be supported by an upgraded S Pen stylus. In addition to this, the device will be featuring an LTPO OLED display with QHD+ resolution supported by a refresh rate of 120Hz. There are going to be new camera functions also.

A Twitter post has also showcased the live images of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra which appears to be similar to Galaxy Note 10+ that was launched last year. However, the tipster has only shared the images of the front panel displaying vibrant natural looking wallpapers. The display has a notch to house a selfie camera located at top centre. A curved display panel is clearly seen and on the left side, the device has a volume rocker and a power button.
Some of the previous leaks suggest that the vanilla variant will have a full-HD flat display with 60HZ refresh rate along with wide frames. This indicated that the smartphone will go for narrow bezels instead of a curved display. Moreover, the Galaxy Note 20 series is tipped to be available in three colour options in Black, Copper, White/Grey, and Mint Green. The series is going to include Samsung Galaxy Note 20, Samsung Galaxy Note 20+ and Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. This time we will see a lot of differences in the specifications of the three smartphones. The regular model is most likely to come with a 6.7-inch display, while the Plus variant will come with a 6.9-inch display.
