The South Korean smartphone brand seems to be on a launching spree. After teasing Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 for long it has finally been launched in India today. This is the company’s third tablet after Tab S6 Lite and Tab S7. The newly launched Tab is an economical option and comes with a range of features such as quad speakers powered by Dolby Atmos and more the Samsung Tablet has been introduced in the mid-range tablet segment powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC and a long-lasting battery with a capacity of 7040mAh with an adaptive fast charging.

In India, Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 comes in two different models LTE and WiFi. The LTE both have 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage. The LTE model has been priced at Rs 21,999 while the Wi-Fi model comes with a price tag of Rs 17,999. The device will be offered in three colour options Dark Gray, Silver and Gold. The Samsung Tablet is now up for pre-bookings via Samsung.com, select retail stores and leading online portals.
The pre-booking offers include a Keyboard Cover at a special price of Rs 1875 along with an additional cashback of up to Rs 2,000 to the ICICI debit and credit cardholder. The company is yet to announce when Tab A7 will be going on sale in India.

Coming to the specification the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 comes with a 10.4-inch WUXGA+ TFT display having 2,000×1,200 pixels of resolution. The tab runs on One UI 2.5 based on top of Android 10. Under the hood, there is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor paired with 3GB of RAM with 32GB of storage option. There is a dedicated micro SD card slot on the device to further expand the memory to up to 1TB.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Galaxy Tab A7 features an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera for taking selfies. The device houses a 7,040mAh battery. For connectivity, the options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, Galileo, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port. The sensors onboard include an accelerometer, gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, hall sensor, and ambient light sensor. In addition to this on the purchase of the tab, the company will be offering a two-month subscription of YouTube Premium free. Features such as Auto HotSpot and Quick Share enhance multi-device experience. Also, it allows the users to take calls and text on other devices directly on your Galaxy Tab A7, while you are logged on to the same Samsung account on your smartphone.
