Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite with S Pen support all set to launch in India today

Today the Korean giant Samsung is going to launch its latest Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite in India. Prior to its official launch, the device has been listed on the Amazon website as the company has created a dedicated microsite and have started taking pre-orders of the tablet. In the meanwhile, the company official website is also taking the registrations of its upcoming Tablet.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is the toned-down variant of Galaxy Tab S6 that was launched last year. The upcoming device is expected to go cheaper as the regular model is being sold at Rs 59,900. 

Just ahead of the launch the company has created a dedicated page to tease the commencement of the pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. It is expected to be made available in Angora Blue, Chiffon Pink, and Oxford Grey colour options. The  ‘Notify Me’ button is also live. Those interested can simply book their device by clicking the button or else they can also register the Tab on via the company’s official website. The company has also listed the Tablet on its website revealing few details about the product. Even the ‘Register Now‘ button is live one can fill an online registration form by providing their personal details such as email-ID as well as contact number. The applicants will be notified as soon as the device goes on sale in the country. The Amazon India dedicated page for the Samsung Tablet highlights some of the features of the Tab S6 Lite.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite runs on One UI 2.0 on top of  Android 10 out of the box. The Samsung Tablet features a 10.4-inch WUXGA TFT display with 1,200×2,000 pixels of resolution. It is powered by an unnamed octa-core chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.

On the camera front, the new Tablet will come with an 8-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and is capable of recording videos in 1080p at 30fps. While on the front there a 5-megapixel selfie camera. 

In terms of connectivity 3.5mm audio jack, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS support and USB Type-C port. It comes with AKG speakers with Dolby Atmos support. A 7,040mAh battery fuels the Tablet that delivers video playback time of up to 13 hours.
