The South Korean smartphone company, Samsung, is all set to expand its Indian-exclusive series of smartphones Galaxy F in India today. The company will launch two new devices to the series — Samsung Galaxy F02s and Galaxy F12. Ahead of the official launch both the devices have been listed on Flipkart as well as the company’s official website in India and will be available for purchase soon after the launch.
As per the listing, the Galaxy F02s will feature a 60Hz refresh rate panel while the Galaxy F12 is going to come with a 90Hz refresh rate support. Both these devices will be unveiled by an online-only launch, which is said to begin at 12 noon onward. The Livestream of the online launch event will be webcast via the company’s official YouTube channel along with multiple social media channels.

Whereas its counterpart is expected to be offered under Rs 11,000 price bracket.

As per a recent update, the Samsung Galaxy F12 has been listed on Geekbench ahead of its India launch. The upcoming phone has been spotted with the model number SM-G127G on the benchmarking website. The device is listed to run on One UI based on Android 11 out of the box. It is suggested to be powered by Exynos 850 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. The single-core score of the device is 154 whereas the multi-core score is 969.
As for the other specifications, Flipkart’s listing has revealed that the Galaxy F12 will feature a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V Display and it refreshes at 90Hz. There will be a quad rear camera setup on the phone that will include a 48-megapixel primary sensor. The phone is going to be fuelled by a 6,000mAh battery. Under the hood, there will be an Exynos 850 SoC. It will further include a USB Type-C port for charging and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

On the other hand, the listing for the Samsung Galaxy F02s reveals a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V display with 60Hz refresh rate support. The phone will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz. It is listed to come with a triple rear camera set up that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor. According to the company, the Galaxy F02s will house a 5,000mAh battery to deliver a full day charge. In the past, the device was also spotted at the Google Play Console listing suggesting to run on Android 10.
